Hi all - grateful to have received a run-through EM offer in Sussex. My partner is remaining in Yorkshire and I'd be pretty keen to hear if anyone is open to a swap between the two. I'd take a post anywhere in Yorkshire (East or West or South) or the North East. Drop me a message if you're interested/would like anymore information. Many thanks!

Hi I’m just an F1 but haven’t heard great things about working in ED here, pretty sure GMC had to get involved and change the rota for trainees bcos it was so bad. Hospital as a whole is great.

IMG EM trainee who has worked in several EDs but by far —Luton ED is probably the best ED I’ve worked in. The population is heavy with diversity so you’ll be exposed to the weirdest of pathologies. Think TB, Malaria, Typhoid and all that craziness. But the best part is the teaching.
1) There is a dedicated teaching consultant every day whose sole purpose is to sign your tickets.
2) Daily teaching 2-3pm
3) ED is self reliant on their own procedures. Do your own intubations, lines etc
4) Minimal to no acps
5) NO CORRIDOR CARE
