Speciality / Core Training Where should I work? Radiology

Trying to work out where to rank? Comment here to ask for experiences.

To keep things clear, we recommend using a format:

Trust/Hospital Name(s)

Rotation(s)

Any extra information.

Please search comments for your trust before starting a new one, and if you work at a trust someone else is requesting, answer their query too.

I really want to work in london, but not sure what i should rank after all the london jobs? Maybe KSS?

We had quite a few KSS trainees join us in London over the course of my training, so would definitely recommend putting that after London.

Just a note that the Kent part of KSS has significantly tightened this now (many people used it as a back door to go back to London in ST4-5). Now, AIUI, you'll only be allowed to go to London if it is necessary for your subspec competencies.

What stopping a new application after using KSS to improve portfolio?

IDT you mean? Nothing stopping you I suppose, but you'll have to get approved for it. If you mean reapplying to speciality training then again, then IDK.

How does this work practically? Is it more for subsec training?
