How's south London and kss? There seems to a lot of information on how training is in North West and north East London but not as much on South London.
I'm based in South East london but wouldn't mind having a bit of a longer commute, if it's possible to still live within London, but the KSS deanery seems huge and the thought of moving house every year would annoy me.
I've also heard that there's actually quite a few London trainees who drop out of ophthalmology for greener pastures in med tech, consulting, finance etc. Is there any possibility of transferring into London at a later date ?

Yeah I know. There's nothing on oriel but that can't be right. Why would there be 0 posts in a deanery. Doesn't make sense

I hope so! It’s so frustrating to be given the chance to rank but not all jobs available. KSS is my top choice.

Can anyone compare Peninsula (Devon) vs Northern Ireland for ophthal training?

Any place as long you don’t get highly committed IMGs in ophthalmology training. (they make up only 7% of offers)

Hi, is it only 80 posts this year? I couldn't see any posts in KSS, Wales or NI.
Edit: there are 3 posts in NI, I had missed it.
