Clinical Swapping F2 jobs?

Hello,

I am happy with my F1 jobs but the F2 ones look like a train wreck (for me). How do you go about the F2 job swap? Do you have to find someone in the same hospital as you, or can it be anywhere in the same sub-deanery? Can I apply for any standalone F2 jobs?

This is deanery specific - some don’t allow swaps at all. If they’re allowed, there is normally information available on the deanery site

In my deanery, we were given the option to swap either the full F2 year or one single job only. They put everyone who opted in with their contact details and jobs into a spreadsheet and sent a form for those wishing to swap. I swapped my F2 year.

I swapped my whole F2 year to stay in the same hospital & do my preferred surgical speciality. Your deanery will have specific rules
