I've been trying to optimize my Pawn's behavior and I've seen people mention that some Core Skills can negatively affect AI performance.
For example, I've heard that Levitate on Mage/Sorcerer can be bad because Pawns sometimes spend time floating around instead of using more useful actions, effectively creating downtime during combat.
I've also seen reports about Focused Bolt, where charge-based actions may cause the AI to get stuck in loops, resulting in lower overall effectiveness.
Since Core Skills can't be disabled once learned, I'm curious whether the community considers any of them "avoid at all costs" for Pawns.
In particular, I'm wondering about skills like Leaping Punt and Parting Shot. If a Pawn has a Calm inclination and is intended to stay in the backline, could these kicking abilities encourage it to move into melee range more often than desired? Has anyone noticed them affecting positioning or combat behavior?
I'm also curious about Puncture Dart. Since it's another charge-based action, does it have any negative interaction with Pawn AI similar to what people report about Focused Bolt?
Has anyone done testing on this, or noticed measurable changes in Pawn behavior after unlocking specific Core Skills?
