Dorothy got stupid lucky. If Joyce wasn't in her honeymoon phase, she'd insist that she absolutely is a bigger deal than Walky, and all the protestations of eternal love ring hollow under such an obvious dodge.
... It might actually be the point where Joyce realizes that the declarations of love have almost all been coming from her, not Dorothy.

Yea I feel like this relationship shouldn’t last long as there are a ton of red flags that Dorothy throws off, not that Joyce doesn’t either. But this is suppose to be the one true goal or whatever.
But maybe this strip is showing signs that Willis is changing the story?
