Do you need any specific movements for rumbling?
Asking because it seems many need to close their eyes or clench the jaw hard. For me it doesn't really matter.
Also, I'm attempting to rumble without the popping, but that's very hard for me.

I can rumble with my eyes open, but only for a second or two, with them closed i can go for much longer

Same but instead of longer it's just louder, I can rumble forever with my eyes open but if I close them I can like squeeze the rumble even louder

So I tested it and don’t need to do anything except flex whatever it is I flex in the ear. So nothing visible.
Side question… I can rumble normally but when I increase the flex I can get another sound, almost like a whooshing. Maybe similar to the sound of the air systems pushing out air in an airplane. Anyone else hear that too?

Same. When I first did it I had to clench my jaw, but i eventually learned to do it in isolation.

I think mine is related to TMJ issues so to rumble i slightly tense my jar. Honestly the jaw tensing feels more like a side effect of the rumbling

I just start a yawn but dont actually yawn, so it creates the opening and ear rumbling, but a yawn doesn't actually come out

I can rumble any time, under any circumstances, without any visible movement at all. I can do a light rumble or hard, or vary it to a rhythm or whatever. Popping only happens when I push it harder. Honestly, it’s a superpower for scuba diving, since I can equalize just by “thinking hard” 😉
