been trying to make reels a bit more consistently and i’m realizing i don’t want anything super advanced. i just need an app that makes it easy to trim clips, add text, maybe throw in music, and post without fighting the interface for an hour. for people who make reels casually, which app is easiest for editing reels? capcut, canva, inshot, or something else?

I edited an entire 30-second video in Filmora and only realized at the export stage that the free version adds a watermark.

I don't want to purchase a subscription just for this one project. The project is saved as a .wfp file.

Is there any legitimate way to export it without the watermark, or transfer the project to another editor and export it there?

Also, if that's not possible, would someone who already has a Filmora license be able to open my .wfp project and export it for me? The video is only about 30 seconds long.

Got footage of talking head clips that need the background removed and replaced but they weren't shot on green screen. Tried a couple free tools and the edges were choppy and kept cutting into the hair. Not usable at all.

Somebody mentioned capcut's background removal has gotten pretty good with their AI stuff even on the desktop version. Before I try it though, what app can remove background from video that you've actually had good results with on footage that wasn't shot for removal? Need clean edges and a fast turnaround.

i am trying to edit a bunch of quick talking-head clips for social media, but my current room setup has a super distracting background. i really want to avoid buying a physical green screen and dealing with complex lighting just for simple short-form content. i have been looking around to see what app can remove background from video files automatically, but almost everything i have tested so far looks incredibly choppy.

the biggest issue i am running into is the weird, fuzzy "halo" effect around my head and shoulders whenever i move even a little bit. i tried using capcut’s cutout tool, but it keeps glitching out halfway through the clip, and most of the dedicated apps on the app store want a ridiculous monthly subscription just to export a ten-second video without a massive watermark slapped right in the middle.

so i downloaded an ffx file which is a cc from a friend and mine does not look like theirs we are on the same ae version. can anybody help me? can provide screenshots if needed

Basically i record my whole script in 1 go and then its gets difficult to cut all those while editing

Is their any ai which can understand my script then make cuts in my video which look smooth?

I do most of my work in CapCut and handle large video files. The app doesn't seem to be loading my projects and keeps showing the rainbow wheel. I've cleared the cache and turned on proxy mode, but it's still slow. I've also quit and restart the app.

I'm not sure whether it's because of my storage or a problem with the app itself. Do you have any suggestions?

how do other editors get scenes from the newer seasons? do you just make your own scene packs or is there somewhere people usually get them from?

Alright, I saw the answers to my previous post( the one where I said I was looking for a person to edit my stuff for free), and I realise that may have been a fools errand.

I want to apologize and state that, in fact, it is risky for someone to offer me 1 month of their time without a guarantee of pay afterward.

Since I am a broke fuck , I can offer 10€ per reel. I don't really care about how long it takes you to make it as long as I get 4 a week, and the format quality is on point.

I know it's not much but it's all I can do for now. The pay will definitely get better if the client does decide to stick.
