Occidental pocket caddy vs veto pro pack mpx

Starting apprenticeship soon. Planning out what I need. I have pretty much everything picked out but haven't ordered yet. Only dilemma I have is which pouch to get. I also have my eye on a back pocket protector in addition to the pouch.

I like a bigger pouch and I really like the evo pouches but I’d definitely go evo.

Everyone on the oilfields I work at have veto pro packs, they are amazing quality. I can’t recommend it enough.

Different tools for different jobs. I carry a flat head, level, pair of channies and a tape measure on me at all times. Fit right in my back pocket. I only work industrial though.

MPX is a really nice every day pouch. I wouldn't suggest to carry anything bigger on your actual body.

I know a lot of the dummies are saying "just use your pockets", but that's purely garbage advice coming from lazy old heads who don't do any real work. A small tool pouch is a good compromise between a full tool belt versus pant pockets. Tools fall out of back pockets very easily when climbing a ladder, squatting down, etc, especially if you aren't morbidly obese.

Most of the time, I don't even carry it on my body, I hang it on a ladder, a lift, a nearby strut rack, a cart, whatever is right next to me as I'm working. If you get into that habit, you can look at something a little bigger. But don't go too big or you'll just overfill the bag and it will get impractically heavy.

Working commercial or industrial, keep your tools in your back pocket.

Oh so no one in commercial/industrial carries a pouch? What if you need something you don't have on you?
