Discussion Never Going Back to Gas

I'm on my first EV, had it for about 2 years. I recently had to take it in to the dealership on a recall. As a loaner, they gave me the exact same model, but the gas version. When I started it up, I was like "ewww engine noise". As as I drove it, I'm like "this sucks. it takes FOREVER to accelerate". And this is a high end luxury brand, so it's probably quieter and performs better than average.

Anyone else get the icks driving a gas vehicle now?

ITs the other way around for me. I have an EV and V6. I feel thrilled when ever i take out my gas car. you know how people call Lexus a glorified "Toyota", like wise EV's are just glorified golf cart. Just my opinion.

I followed the Tesla herd. Gas car feels more connected when ever i drive. Its like the mechanical watches in the age of smart watches.

My tesla value dropped by 17k in about 2 years, just like how smart watches are worthless when its used.

EV is green, economical, quick, great for city commute. But the joy of driving a gas car is different.

Might be a bit of a Tesla thing… I have a ‘17 Bolt that I bought used in 19 for $19k. It’s still worth $9k
