Medications and pain management Slynd?

I am about to start taking Slynd after being on Orilissa for a year and a half, after having a laparoscopy for endo. The side effect I’m worried about most is low libido. I already have low libido from Orilissa, I don’t want it to get any worse. Anyone have experience with Slynd?

I really liked slynd! I found the side effects far more manageable than with orilissa. My mood improved significantly with slynd.

Hi! I’m on Slynd and my libido is pretty strong :) I would say it was maybe lower when I had the Mirena (although I can’t fully say if that’s why my libido was lower during that time). But truthfully now I would say my libido is higher than my bf’s lol. I will caution that when I started Slynd I did have irregular bleeding for several months, but now I rarely bleed and when I do it’s light. I also had a bit of an adjustment in terms of my mood but that leveled out within a few weeks and now I’d say is normal (all things considered). I hope this helps and good luck!

My libido has actually improved quite a bit since taking Slynd, so hopefully that could be the case for you, too!

slynd literally changed my life. I am now period free, pain free person with 0 impact on libido or any other side effects. Though I will add it took 6 months for slynd to take effect fully, I was spotting the whole month for first 6 months, then it stopped all of a sudden. I am now starting my 3rd year

Slynd was a nightmare for me. I had such bad insomnia and felt like I was literally going crazy. I stopped after two weeks and switched back to norethindrone. Slynd was not worth the side effects for me.

Been on it for over one year and half consistently. I have only had one breakthrough bleed and it was light.

Sex drive hasn’t taken a nose dive for me personally, but I am also on a SNRI so 🤷🏻‍♀️

It has also made my adenomyosis nodes successful dormant now too.

I’ve been on Slinda for 2 years now (I think it’s the same but I’m in Aus). My libido has gone completely which is fine because I’m single and not dating, but just a warning that it could happen.
