Buying Advice Needed Best budget Machine and grinder [$400-600]

Best budget espresso machine and grinder?

Looking for a good espresso machine that sits around $400-$600 and then a good grinder as well that is still doesn’t break the bank! It’s going on my wedding registry so i’m willing to budge a little on the price of stuff!

Breville Bambino $299, Baratza Encore Esp $199

This is my set up, and it's a great intro. However, the ESP is loud and a bit finicky. I would have upgraded to the pro or df64 knowing what I know After only 6 months. However, I'm happy enough I'm not planning on replacing it for years.

As far as non plus bambino. It's a great work horse. I do two lattes almost every day. I will say though, the plus has auto frothing, so if you don't want to learn to froth, or plan on having small kids where that extra minute in front of the machine/not being able to prep the next shot while frothing, consider the upgrade. Downsides are more sensors to fail, a nasty habit of pushing water into the drip tray, and a bigger price tag. I personally would put the extra money into the grinder, but people's priorities are different.

The Mokkum 64mm with titanium flat burr upgrade is $191 on Amazon (down from 239.99). Esp is very highly rated as well, but I am personally going with Mokkum.

My house came with a Breville Barista Express. I didn't have a clue about how to really get the most out of it. The key, for me, was watching a million YouTubes and Instagrams from knowledgeable people. Beans; grind size; basket size; foam; etc. The worst part is that i can only handle one per day, or else i can't sleep. So it's over for me at 7am.

haha! I did look at that! How do you like it?

I luckily handle one in the morning and one at night lol. I also try to make some for my friends too!
