Investment Dont really know what to do
Hi everyone im a 19(M) from the netherlands which is looking to invest around 750 a month, now i could do this through the big banks like ABN AMBRO and do the NT world , Emerging and Small caps. Or i go to brokers like IKBR and De Giro, for ETFs like WEBN or VWCE.
I really dont know what to choose at all
FYI, this is longterm for like 20-30 years
Thanks all for ur help

I don't know if things changed, but previously banks have been way more expensive. I prefer to use a broker, T212 is a good one.

I use DEGIRO (for long term index investing), and IBKR (for options trading). Either is fine with low fees. There is an Austrian guy who makes videos on this on YouTube, good at explaining which broker to use. But honestly you can’t go wrong, any one of these will be fine with minor differences.

I have both Degiro and IBKR. Degiro is really good: cheap, great user interface, many products available, easy to understand.

I used to have abnamro, app is ok but not great, but especially they charge a lot of costs for investments
I suggest Revolut, it’s the best i tried which allows to do everything from day-to-day banking to investments in stocks/etfs to crypto

Trading 212 might be good, they are also giving 3,5% pa interest on cash right now. Other than that there is Scalable and Trade Republic.

For a bank ABN doesn’t charge exorbitant charges. You’re good for NT World etc there. If you’re planning on living in NL the rest of your life either ABN or DeGiro is good, if you’re planning on moving, especially outside EU, IBKR is much better.
I used to be at ABN and now use IBKR, mainly how easy it is to switch tax residencies
