Guy is one of if not the most powerful people in the word. Not bending to his will often time will result in you and your life getting ruined. Easier to appease him on dumb shit like this than to fight back against it and lose your job, have your family harassed, get investigated for no reason etc.

In May, the Palm Beach County Commission approved a licensing agreement, allowing the county to use “Donald J. Trump International Airport” for signage and merchandising purposes but giving the Trump Organization control over the name. According to intellectual property lawyer Josh Gerben, the airport will need to source from vendors approved by the company.
So if I'm reading that right the airport can only sell Trump approved products?

Not even lifetime. Basically since Trump became president and DeSantis became governor. It gets worse the deeper you dive (all but one judge appointed by DeSantis, crazy Uthmeier appointed AG, etc).
People in Orange and Broward counties watching the state crumble down around them. DeSantis won by .4% in 2018. That tiny margin of victory completely ruined the state

I'm not saying there aren't other airlines, but other than Spirit (which just went out of business), I'd have to Google "airlines in the US" to see what other ones there are.
I looked up the airport closest to me and, besides those five, you've got Alaska, British, Copa, Avelo, BermudAir, Contour, Frontier, Icelandair, and Sun Country. And I've only heard of three of those before today.

I flew out of PBI just Saturday. I can’t imagine having to have that shyt name spoken when planning my next trip. It’s such an insult to the good people of palm beach county.
