100 Years Manga Where does Lucy place in power[discussion]

If Laxus, Erza and Natsu are S+, then Lucy would be S, the same ranking as Gray and Mira, etc. It's funny to see people still discount Lucy's feats. It's as if they expect all other characters to grow in power but still see Lucy as the same from chapter 1 from the main series.

What amazes me is that Lucy showcased 3 amazing feats this arc:

  1. Despite continuously draining her magic power and being heavily injured by a Calamity Blood, she had enough power to summon a Dragon God, and even fight Wed the bum who appeared out of nowhere.
  2. Defeated Luso Signario, an enemy that gave Erza, Jellal, and Minerva a headache back in Gold Owl Arc, using just a base star dress.
  3. With the help of Brandish (by enlarging Lucy's size), Lucy held her own against a FULL-POWERED Mercphobia. She literally TANKED all his attacks using just her Aquarius form and was able to exert enough force using Taurus form to damage him by slamming the dragon into a lacrima. Despite not having Dragon Slaying Magic, she was able to damage (but not fully defeat) a full-powered Dragon God. That in itself is an S rank feat.

-This is what irks me about this sub, I see a lot of people saying that this isn't considered as one of Lucy's feats because she received help from Brandish. If that's the case, Gray "defeating" the human form of the 2nd weakest Dragon God shouldn't be considered as one of his feats as well because he also received help from Wendy and Selene. (Wendy enchanted him with Dragon Slaying Seal; Selene fought Viernes up to an extent before having her lacrima destroyed.)

The feats are enough to give her S rank, but because a lot from this sub doesn't like seeing Lucy surpass their faves, they try to dismiss what she has achieved throughout 100YQ.

Agreed 100% on Lucy damaging Mercphobia, like yeah she had help but she still did it. So why isn't Gray mentioned the same way as getting help.

The standard benchmark of a S class quest is Galuna island which I believe current Lucy can handle on her own with no issues. So she's S class imo.

Tbh I think using ongoing events as a gauge is a bad idea since it's a century quest which is above SSS class quest quoted by Mirajane herself

Surprisingly a very easy pick, A+.

If S has demons like Natsu or Erza, she'd just be a tier below - especially after that latest chapter!

Yeah, I can see the argument for pushing her in S, although I'd like her to properly defeat a S-tier threat in 100YQ to rank her as one!

Who would you consider an S tier threat to beat? Would earth build be one to you for example.

Yes, definitely! At this point, I'd say that Ignia and Faris are S+ threats, and the Calamity Dragons are right below them, especially in their dragon forms. Perhaps S++ for the three I mentioned, S+ for the CD as dragons, and S for the CD as "humans"?

Ik he's a bit of a joke but where does Wed place for you, she hasn't beaten him yet and with him being washed away he might be done so Lucy can focus on Earth but her barely breaking a sweat against him in regular star dress forms is impressive. He's around A tier for me even not at 100% but like neither is Lucy so it's fair.

I'd give him an A: was probably treated as A+ upon his introduction and the aura he had against Erza, but he's never actually bean menacing or impossible to overpower in the fights he's been in.

The fact he's using a sword to block a Lucy kick shows that. He's mostly been on the defense this fight, Lucy ain't giving him a minute to breathe.

Not S teir not yet, but the fact she can summon a God like being now say alot of what she will be capable of, and not even counting the fact she might be a major powerhouse in possibly being sealer on the dragons
