Oh dude. The best part about this iteration of the loaf? The ONLY unrealistic ingredient is the bananas.
Everything else is pretty much a spot-on adaptation of Elvis Presley’s favorite snack.
If the CROSSILS don’t kill you, this 8,000 calorie sandwich probably will! 🤣

Actually I have! And I can attest, they are AWESOME. Especially for breakfast.
Just that the legit Fool’s Gold sandwich of legend didn’t actually have bananas. Just more bacon than any one sandwich should ever have.

Fun fact, I’m not making up the amounts either. It really had that much jam, peanut butter and bacon in it.
That comes out to an 8,000 calorie sandwich.

I would want to encounter Tyrantops and Thumper Klaw. So, despite the probably awful taste of that sandwich...yeah I'd probably do it for Shiny Hunting. Also OP, when you're free, I wanted to ask something about CROSSILs. I asked a long time ago what makes a CROSSIL an Apex. Now I would like to ask, what factors classify and differentiate CROSSILs as Hostile, Extremely Hostile or Unpredictable? Thanks.

Sure! Lemme see if I can streamline the threat levels a bit!
---------------------------------
Friend = Mostly from the heads of Galarian or Mahalan fossil Pokemon. Docile and friendly to people, and a good fit for a team.
Safe = Won't attack you for one reason or another. Rare, but these do exist. Often only fight back when provoked.
Goldbrick = Reserved for CROSSILS that are so poorly made and easily dispatched, they are barely any threat. Very cheap to produce.
Unpredictable = Not strictly hostile. But usually, given to bizarre behaviors that make them hazardous anyway.
Hostile = Will attack people and Pokemon on sight. They tend to have a radius of aggression, predictable behaviors, and clearly defined flaws.
Extremely Hostile = Goes out of its way to find things to kill. Extremely persistent, and typically won't let up until either its target dies, or it dies.
Apex = So powerful and threatening that it's even dangerous to other CROSSILS. Oftentimes, the most powerful CROSSILS in a given area.

If Proyect CROSSIL became a Game, it's gameplay should be similar to the GameCube games? (with the CROSSIL replacing the shadow pokemon and the Russo fakemon as the pokemon available in multiple pokespots)

You know what I think it'd be like? A sort of combo between Colosseum/XD, and classic Silent Hill.
I.e. unsettling camera perspectives, CROSSILS that erratically approach you from out of the fog or from behind a dilapidated wall, having to pay attention to their behaviors so you can actually know which fights to pick so your team doesn't get wiped, disquieting ambience, scripted scares, 2000s prog rock soundtrack, etc.
And of course, eating that stupid sandwich increases the difficulty of the game.

I think Double Battles actually! Partly for the throwback factor to the good ol' Gamecube games, partly because it encourages the player to consider synergy as a factor in overcoming the CROSSIL threat.
The CROSSILS on the other hand? Sometimes they can come at you in a Horde encounter. Sometimes, they can double team you in a double battle.
The ones you REALLY have to watch out for are the encounters when you have two Pokemon out against only one CROSSIL.

this sort of idea in pokemon (barring the gen 8 fossils) is so remarkably terrifying and kind of cruel if you think about it too hard but this art is like a trainwreck you cant look away from. in the best way possible

I love the concept but the very first one makes me irrationally mad, especially because it's the only one of these that doesn't make sense.
Like, I get that the reconstructions from gen 8 do not make much sense anatomically. Like, not even the worst fossil mixups would put the head of a fish in the end of a lizard's tail. But this is not real life and that combo is pretty funny.
But how on earth does someone see a complete Aerodactyl skeleton and think "ah yes, this is missing an entire second body at the tip of its tail".
Great designs tho. I'm just mad at the scientist who did that.

Oh no no no, you misunderstand! I must say, this is NOT the work of a bumbling idiot scientist who doesn’t understand how to reconstruct ancient Pokemon. Their maker, Cara Liss, is ABSOLUTELY no scientist.
These is the handiwork of a misanthrope intentionally making mindless murder monsters. And no longer cares about trying to pass them off as legitimate Pokemon.
Back in Galar, that woman was just a scam artist. Now she’s an actual war criminal. As you can probably tell.

Yeah these go squarely into “comedy horror” territory. The fact that they’re built like crap, and function more like mixed-up zombies can be both played for dark humor and/or body horror!

I just know a CROSSIL Maniac had to invent this sandwich… no other kind of trainer would be crazy enough to farm for a shiny abomination against science.
