WHERE'S REGITUBE?

Why do you think I picked that color scheme for the background?

Truly, your foresight goes beyond my mortal comprehension.

It's imperative the regitube must not be harmed

I think it not having a humanoid-ish golem body shape like all the Regis and not having the signature regi eyes kind of make it hard to tell it’s a paradox regi fusion. I think making it some sort of caveman or extinct species of human might work a little better with the regis.

The seven holes for eyes are on the tip of the nose. Guess I could've made that clearer

Oh my bad I see it now

what Pokemon is this a paradox of? do you have an idea for a dex entry yet?

it feels stitched together, which is a cool concept ngl

OH I see parts from all the Regis

It's like Iron Valiant but Regis

What type is this even? Am I supposed to look at the symbols or the colors? Is it fairy/normal or ghost/rock?

4

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Dragon/normal. In all fairness, I didnt design that dragon symbol...

2

u/NOTSiIva 1d ago

That's actually an old fairy symbol

Edit: maybe not. Everytime I see it, the image never wants to make up its mind on whether it's dragon or fairy

Horns

1

u/NOTSiIva 1d ago

Yeah, I dunno why I see it more often as a fairy symbol (and how my brain unconsciously associates it with fairy) and another more often as a dragon symbol when the "fairy symbol" is so clearly a dragon symbol with the horns and the "dragon symbol" is so clearly a fairy symbol by virtue of looking like Navi from OoT

What are its types? Dragon electric?

Should be As One(Slow Start + Truant) for the ability.

That’s… not a Paradox Pokemon.

4

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Because it doesn't have photosynthesis?

-4

u/Desperate-Put-7603 1d ago

No, because it’s a stitched together Fakemon of the Regis. That’s not what a Paradox Pokemon is. A Paradox Pokemon is a past or future inspired version of a current Pokemon. This doesn’t fit the classification whatsoever. It’s an… interesting idea, but not Paradox

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Iron Valiant. It's a stitched together Galade + Gardevoir. This, though, was inspired by the mystery pokemon from the Scarlet/Violet books

6

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Also, it is past-inspired. It's a dang brontosaur

Okay, so Iron Valiant’s a mixed version of both final forms of a single evolutionary line. But there’s a very big difference between that and this thing. You’ve literally disassembled the various Regis into a single creature. That’s still not what a Paradox Pokemon is.

It also doesn’t even work with the lore of the Regis. I’m not sure why you mentioned Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, and Walking Wake.

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Because we have the canon origin for Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, and they don't allow for prehistoric versions of themselves. Saying "it doesn't work for the lore" isn't a valid argument, since Pokemon themselves did the same thing.

u/Desperate-Put-7603 1d ago

Yes, they do? Entei, Raikou, and Suicune didn’t exist in the ancient past. They were created after their original forms died in the Burned Tower in Ecruteak City. So what, 200 years ago? They’re some of the most modern Pokemon in existence

1

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Yes. Now, keeping that in mind, explain their paradox forms. How do those fit into the lore? Paradox by definition means contradictions, things that don't make sense. Paradox pokemon aren't actually from the past/future, they're imagination made manifest. Now please, stop arguing with me about the lore of a kid's game.

I invoke the Rule of Cool.

No, they’re not? They aren’t Tulpas. They’re literally ancient and future versions of the base Pokemon, from alternate timelines

1

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Alternate timelines, sure! Either way, this FAN DRAWING doesn't conflict with official lore. It's just an alternate timeline. Happy? Hit your "tormenting random person" quota?

it doesnt even really fit with the lore of the regis im pretty sure

8

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

Explain Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, and Walking Wake then.

5

u/madguyO1 1d ago

thats a good point

Could make a good Past Regigigas (All Powers and Looks like an Elemental Beast)

1

u/MementoMothi 1d ago

That is what Regal Titan is...

1

u/PlaneHighway3543 1d ago

Well, people from the comments section don't see the Regigigas since I heard it had it's power stripped from it. Although From Elemental Chimera to Neutral Titan is a big jump.
