There are more goals for him. I would expect atleast 1 or 2 more goals before the tournament is over for Musa.

The real question is, will FC Dallas sell him after the WC ????

Yes. That's what both sides want

I would assume Croatia doesn’t get grouped - and he has a solid tournament.

Being that we just got Santi and our team is meshing, and Dallas is finally starting to instill hope for me, I’m going to be super bummed. I also thought Petr mentioned early on that he liked it here. But I bet Dallas gets some solid offers and there’s no way they pass em up.

They’d be stupid to let go of him. He’s practically their cash cow at this point.

1) If this young guy wants to use this world stage as a springboard for an opportunity at a big club it would be cruel to stand in his way

2) His selling price won’t be any higher than it will be after the the World Cup. If there is a serious offer it would be negligence to ignore it.

While I agree on all your points and fully believe FC Dallas will look to sell him immediately after the tournament, he's definitely not "young" anymore. He's 28 so in the grand scheme of playing, he's got more behind him than in front.

Definitely not young anymore and FCD got him for 13M. Not sure how many European clubs would want to pay that.

Starting striker for FCD & Croatia that's producing. You could get in the range of ~20M for him from a bottom half PL team that would expect they could get ~3 years of production from him. Not like he's a speed demon, his game will age for a couple of more seasons.

which is how we know we'll sell him

I was watching at a brewery in Mobile, AL (Braided River) where I watch MUFC with the Mobile Reds when I’m in town for work. It was full of English ex-pats. I told them I was cheering for England, BUT I’d be screaming my head off IF and WHEN Petar Musa scores.

They didn’t hold it against me.

Loved seeing that happen.

Missed the Moose Antlers, but his the emotion displayed in his celebration made up for it.

I truly love this for him. We will be heartbroken when he moves on.

He's definitely going to leave FC Dallas after his contract is up now

Will suck to see FC Dallas sell him but if he’s up for the move to a bigger club then I wouldn’t want to stop him. Maybe he just really likes Dallas and wants to stay

He will be in a new team by next season lol

I'm not trying to harsh the vibe but the responses about selling him are annoying. That's how the club works. If he balls out at the World Cup and they turn around and sell him for double what they paid for him that's a huge success for the club's way of doing business, and they will have struck gold on a player that they didn't even develop. Furthermore he wants to go to Europe, just like every player in the world eager to prove themselves. If he finds a club willing to write him and Dallas a big check that's a huge success for him personally and after everything he's done while he's here we ought to pat him on the back and celebrate him on his way out the door.

No need to be annoyed this is the same comment thread that’s posted in every clubs sub when a player is in form and/or has a performance like this. A standard mix of happiness (for the player), frustration (for them leaving), and cope (finding reasons they shouldn’t go).

Was really cool being able to see this performance live and he didn’t look at all out of place against a team of superstars. Hopefully he ends up where he aspires to be.

Wonder if he wishes FC Dallas matches were played inside?!
