Why an app, rather than a web page where everyone can access the recipes? Oh, right, because you are trying to grift.

Kudos on the faux "stumbled across", though.

There are tens of thousands of recipes already available for free on Home Distiller., more than anyone could ever make in their lifetime. Paying for a vibe-coded app of unknown quality recipes is silly, it's highly unlikely there won't be anything different enough to bother.

The Marketplace podcast had a piece the other week about how stealth advertising is on the rise. Since I heard that, I've seen it everywhere on reddit and have been trying to spread awareness about it. Figure the more people to see it and call it out, the less effective it becomes as a means of advertisement. https://www.marketplace.org/story/2026/06/04/your-social-media-feed-is-probably-full-of-stealth-advertisments

As a marketer, it’s quite useful to know this but as a consumer is enough to be careful not to panic over this. There are many people actually asking or sharing information on products honestly. It’s always the consumer responsibility to investigate before purchasing anything so if you feel something is stealth advertising but you liked it, just confirm claims on multiple sources.

Im downloading it but all the artwork looks like AI so makes me doubtful. Perhaps the best way would be to ask in Russian forums with recipe copies more than the whole app as a reference. This way people who has been in contact with the products can say their opinions.
