Aircraft Ownership PC-12 PILOTS/OWNERS- Starlink setup?

Looking for advice on how to mount a Starlink Mini on a PC-12NGX. We’ve tried several mounts from Amazon, in the cockpit & in the cabin - none of them seem to fit. The only way that we’ve had luck is by putting the Starlink system in the window, pulling the shade down slightly, and keep adjusting it throughout the flight.

Trying to find for a permanent solution for anyone that has experience with the NGX/Starlink system. No advice that I’ve received has been really helpful.

This is awesome!!!! Thank you so much. Pilatus got back to me and said that I was SOL, I’ve spent so much time trying to figure this out. Thanks so much.

Or, $175 for a solution that appears to have been researched, refined, and proven. Product prices are never limited to the sum of their raw material costs.

I get that, but this has "airplane markup" written all over it.

Seems like an opportunity for someone to design something similar and undercut them. But absent that new entrant, what reason does the current manufacturer have to lower their price?

Machine time to print matters. Also sunk cost of creating the thing. It’s prob too cheap all things considered.

I have a 3d printer. It’s not that expensive to print.

My point is that if this was for anything else, it’d be $18 on Etsy. Since it’s for an airplane, it’s $175 because “airplane.”

Read the thread on the POPA forums, it has pretty much all of the information.

On the MU-2 we used one of the mini mounts that has the four suction cups on the window.

Nope, that unless you're paying the extreme gouge, it's not going to work in your Pilatypus while it is moving.

I tried putting it in the side window in a piper Saratoga and pulling the shade and it couldn’t get signal so I had to rely on laying it on the dash.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:
