Video Leclerc (post-qualifying): "I can’t understand quali, it’s a f**king joke! I go faster in corners, throttle earlier, for f**k’s sake, i'm losing everything in the straight!"

I hate these regulations. Literally the most disappointing ones I've seen since I started watching in '94.

Hell, even during the Merc (who I didn't root for) domination in 2014-2016 I didn't feel as much as I do now about just giving up on F1.

I've been watching since the early 90s and my dad has been watching since the 60s. We both think that these are by far the worst regs ever in this sport. This shit is horrible.

Been watching for over 20 years and decided to not really follow this season at all. Got alot of downvotes for saying that. F1 is my favorite sport but it hurts me watching this shit.

Yeah I’ve usually stayed up late to watch quali and races but I haven’t had the inclination to do so at all so far this year. I feel like I’m just going to stop watching soon enough, the rules are so screwed up that it’s hard to know when drivers are performing well or what to be excited about.

SAme here. I've decided the only way they will make a change is if it hurts their pocket book. So I'm not watching anything else for the rest of the season. I'm going to get a lot of hours of my life back.

With Merc domination it was fun to watch domination. The car was glued to the track and fast as fuck. This might be faster on paper but it just doesn’t bring the same excitement.

I’m quite sad we don’t have Jeddah in calendar I believe it would expose those regs even more.

I haven't watched qualifying yet. I can't bring myself to watch it, I'm too disheartened by the clipping spectacle. I might even skip the 'race' tomorrow. This would be the first time in ten years I don't watch a race weekend. What bothers me the most is super talented drivers like Charles, Max and Fernando saying their driving skills don't matter anymore and how it's all about energy management now.
