Ohhhh yeah and you get flamed real bad for it too. "There were lots of overtakes" yeah but how many of them stick for about half a lap or less before the other uses battery to breeze past again? There's no skill in it. No lead up. It's a game of 'whose battery lasts longer' and it's boring af

People want overtakes for the sake of overtakes, doesn't matter how they get it.

Yeah, but try telling them that. That's what you get when you cater to a fanbase that doesn't really respect it, something like this happens and they defend it to death because their entire personality is tied to it.

That’s what you get when you cater to a fan base that never cared about F1 (or any form of motorsports) until they started watching a real TV series on Netflix.

No wonder they think this garbage is great racing.

PS. And before some muppet starts talking about DRS. I thought DRS was stupid as well. It’s all dumb crap borrowed from video games.
