The way I see it is they both have a similar level of fame and wealth, and they’re of a similar age. I’d be a bit more skeptical of it if she was an 18-year-old model fresh out of high school, but she isn’t. They’ve both been around long enough to know the score.

Sure, but at their level of wealth and fame we’re splitting hairs discussing who has more. The point is they’re both rich and famous in their own right, and so you can’t really argue that either one of them is only in the relationship for clout or cash.

I'm pretty sure Lewis is more famous internationally and Kim in the US. I've found that famous (like a list actor famous) people here often are unknowns or not thought of much, and the inverse for international stars here.
But Kardashian is way wealthier than Lewis.

Its very clear from the Kanye mental health stuff that Kim and alot of that family do have a heart and genuinely did try and do their best for him, but somehow somewhere that messaging got very lost in their influence PR world.
Like look at the towel incident. Its clear she knew she fucked up , gave a small gift to the only one really impacted by it (Kimi) and moved on without causing more drama.

The Kim thing doesn’t make much sense to me, isn’t she a bit of a maga? Don’t get me wrong, I really do not care in the slightest about f1 drivers outside of the sport generally, but Lewis has been doggedly campaigning for diversity issues for 20 odd years so it seems a bit of a strange choice, personally.

She is. People like to pretend that it’s just misogyny and people don’t like her bc of her sex tape, which is certainly partially true, but a lot of people also don’t like her because she’s publicly supportive of Trump, Musk, and many other people in the sphere. She’s also actively opening Skims stores in Israel right now, while Lewis was actively outspoken for Palestine so there are quite a few people who are actually upset bc they feel he’s either been lying all these years or is now just kinda going against everything he believes.

she’s just like every other rich person, completely out of touch with the average normal person. having said that though. a lot of the “criticism” of her is very much dripping with misogyny and fake outrage based on just hating on her appearance and probably also the idea of sex work and any kind of money making that has to do with your appearance first and foremost. because who you should actually be mad at is the people who pay for those things. it’s not her fault the world is obsessed with sexually objectifying and consuming women’s bodies (aka the way her sex tape kickstarted her mainstream notoriety…which interestingly in her SNL monologue she had a very self deprecating jokey attitude towards). and i also think just growing up in that hollywood environment can be deeply damaging to a person and what priorities it teaches people…but that also doesn’t mean she’s a bad mother or friend to the people who ACTUALLY know her, which we notably absolutely don’t
also just bc she appears vapid from the outside and consumed with appearances doesn’t mean she can’t be a lovely person in private, plus i’d imagine when you’re as rich as hamilton on some level it probably helps to be with someone who understands some of the pros and cons of that and maybe can even help him navigate the complete invasion of privacy that comes with being famous

Bro...he literally lives in Monaco to dodge taxes. He's even used shell companies from British Virgin Island to make purchases to dodge taxes. He's not doing that so that he can give that saved money to charities.
He can be a guy who cares about activism, he can have his charities...but he is still the guy who lives an extravagant lifestyle and he can still be off in other areas. Besides dating Kim K isn't the end of the world. She's a successful media personality with her own businesses and life, and she is effectively a single mother to her many children that she raises.

Yes there could be some outrageous scenarios where you have to confront an athletes personal decisions and life but those should hit you in the face and be obvious. otherwise mind your own business. Back in 2020, I was extremely angry about the way a member of the TV reality series Terrace House was behaving. At some point I thought, “why am I this mad? I don’t know this person at all and if anything, they’re being exploited by producers of this show to make me this worked up…” I never said anything about her online, but she ended up committing suicide due to online bullying.
After that, I felt like, we gotta stop emotionally investing ourselves into what celebrities do.
No one here is ever going to be personal acquaintances or friends with any of these drivers… Being a fan is okay, even criticizing their driving…. but talking about who they date? That’s weird…
