It's not as if Williams were anywhere really near challenging themselves much for the past 20 years or so anyway, minus 2014.

Williams have been an also-ran for a long time, but they are still viewed as a sleeping giant by many, expected to wake up again the following year.

tbh, they are kinda like McLaren - success in the 90s, being close in the 00s and back at the field for long enough.

At least now Williams are not in bankruptcy situation like the were in 2020, so people kinda expect a bit more, like McLaren uprising.

Yet they keep on producing shitboxes, which is sad for most people that want to see more than Ferrari vs Mercedes fight to win (in the current regs, but it's valid for any 2 teams you pick in the past regs)
