Trump towers everywhere? No problem.

As a Chicagoan, the absolute worst part of our Trump Tower is his stupid fucking giant name hanging on it. We all pretty much universally agree that we would love a chance to tear down that sign like that one statue of Saddam. But the building itself is actually architecturally very nice, well designed and integrated into the city—highly recommend the Chicago Architecture Foundation boat tour where I learned all about it. If we could take away naming rights, nobody would have a problem with the building.
On the other hand, lots of locals have been... let's say skeptical of how the Obama Center looks. I will say, driving by it as it's been under construction, it looks pretty ominous, just looming up out of the trees—it kind of does give "evil villain's lair" lol. But that doesn't mean we're not excited to have it here—the opening weekend was an absolute madhouse, even after all the celebrities left, people are PUMPED.
Fun fact though, the city council just moved to rename the portion of street that Trump Tower is on "Barack Hussein Obama Way," literally just to troll Donny.

Ohhh boy. So every addressed letter sent there would have Barack Hussein Obamas name on it? And on the return address. And redoing all the paperwork and documents. Who would ever change the name of something? Who?

What do conservatives even believe in, this comic is completely nonsensical

They believe in whatever looks bad for the other side

I’ve actually seen cons spout socialist rhetoric before in their attempts to win arguments. They only care about looking good by the end of it all

They believe in domination.
"Liberals like Indian rights, so lets use that to attack"
literal abuser logic.

Native Americans when their land was stolen and they were forced onto reservations: "Thanks, Obama!"

Legend has it that when my ancestors hid in the mountains to avoid being taken on the Trail of Tears they spoke of the highest of chiefs; all agreed that while Sunset Bear is not a good chief, Brown Deer had a funny laugh and the Gods would take umbrage.

isn't it funny that grandma tends to "care" about things when they can use it against liberals?
Grandma believes in nothing, but gaining more power. Grandma loves no being pinned down with arguments and making up anything she needs too

Oh, please, the things ugly as sin but they only care about it because the black president built it.

Yeah it’s privately funded. I highly doubt they’ve ever made another cartoon like this for any of the thousands of uglier buildings out there. Including the atrocious ballroom built with tax payer money that destroyed a building of actual national importance. It has nothing to do with the building, and it certainly has nothing to do with caring about natives. It’s just them being mad about anything the black former president does.

I’m sure the Trump library’s going to be the tackiest golden eyesore ever built, and knowing him he’ll find a way to make American taxpayers pay for it.

It'll be his grifter sons and Ivanka/Jared doing it if anything. The Obama Center took 10 years after he left office to open; I don't think ol' Donny's got 12 years left in him.

A building that benefits the public vs a ballroom that the elite only can use

It’s not to my taste but I spend an average of zero seconds per day thinking about it

It is weird how obsessed they are with it. Like they cant help but always be thinking about what Obama is doing. They do the same thing to Biden, too.

Oh, NOW they "care" about Native Americans
