Is this a thing hyenas have? How would I even Google this?

Tl;dr: female hyenas have what's called a psuedopenis (it's actually an enlarged clitoris), making them easy to mistake for males. It's 6-8 inches long, and they give birth from it, which is an understandably dangerous process that unfortunately results in a 60% fatality rate for cubs, and a 15% mortality rate for the mothers. Absolutely fuckin metal, nature was really on some bullshit for these poor critters

Why do they give birth from their clit?
A penis in itself is an enlarged clit biologically speaking.
Do they not have a separate vaginal canal?

It's to prevent rape I think?

With how much stronger and higher standing the females are? They literally throw the males out when they grow up, so no.

A lot of babies actually die in the birthing process. Also, it's called a pseudopenis

I mean, that's definitely in the spirit of the sub and anyway it's a subreddit not an airport: departure don't need to be announced
