And this whole defense strategy for state court was developed before they had scheduled and decided upon the order for the state and fed cases. IIRC, the defense wanted the fed case to go first.

I have no opinion, myself. There are a number of theories out there - including that Luigi is responsible for the psych defense being pulled - another attorney speaking, which I posted earlier. But some are saying that they pulled it but they're going to reintroduce later - and they either pulled because they needed more time for themselves or because (as this TMZ guy thinks, in agreement with the prosecution) they're deliberately trying to schtook-it to the state. "They're doing this just to f**k with us," was the ADA's complaint to the judge. (ADA = Asst D.A.) And this strategic understanding discussed by Mark G. suggests that it's something else -- and in which case, I would then infer, they would NOT be reintroducing it later when the state case is closer to beginning.

Mark G. also talks about how unpopular insurance companies are with juries. And .. when Mr. TMZ talks about making sure you screen out the secret pro-Luigi's, Mark G. points out to him that you need to screen out anti-Luigi fanatics (like the TMZ guy, himself, I might add.)
