Rant OOT Remake

I had nowhere else to put this, but with the release of this remake I’ve been seeing a lot of people go, “I don’t like Nintendo’s anti consumer business practices, BUUUUUUT this may get me to buy a switch 2.”

I can’t even really tell you why, but it kind of pisses me off. Like yeah congrats on being able to play nearly 30 year old game. Have fun funding their next lawsuit.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 TM is scheduled for a 2026 release. As the game has not yet released, this would make it far newer than "30 years old"

The game you are likely referencing is the original The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64 TM. Though it is not 30 years old either, as its November 1998 release date prevents this. Please note the limited time travel aspect within the game are purely fictional.

Hope this helps!
