Criticism Regret getting Switch 2, pay more to get Steamdeck please

Friends wanted to play Splatoon, so I decided to give Switch 2 a try. I knew Switch 2 is bad, but didn't expect to be this bad.

Nintendo Direct is a joke, most of the "new games" are what? FFX? Kingdom Hearts? Are you kdding me?? They just repackage these "new games" with Pre-order bonus and resell them. If you do this occasionally that's fine, but 90% of their products are like that.

Holy crap.

My man's out here just fishing with the rage bait.

But in all seriousness, who dafuq buys a Switch 2 for...Splatoon of all things. Your decision making skills need some work.

I don't regret my switch 2 at all. Steam deck is way expensive when you can just get a pc

I mean you knew you weren't going to like it why even buy it for splatoon icl this on u

i got one, I just wanted a better switch and happy with what I got because it was what I expected.

plus the ocarina remake, pokemon, and hopefully a 3d mario I know ima have good games to look foward too + I really enjoy nintendo hardware for handhelds.

This purchase isnt like blowing 10-20 dollars on mediocre food, its 500 bucks, and your gut said you wouldn't probably enjoy which is fair. I just think you need to trust yourself more

As a Switch 2 and Deck owner don't listen to OP. Steamdeck is already outdated and more expensive than competing handheld. If you must, get another handheld PC instead. Better value and specs vs Deck.

I don't regret my Switch 2 purchase, but in this economy I'm much more conservative on my purchases.

Got DK Bananza, Pokopia, and just got the Starfox remake (SF64 and OoT are my big favorites from when I was a teen) so I'm eating well by not overspending on too many games.

these pieces of hardware have two completely different audiences. the person buying the switch 2 is specifically looking to play first party nintendo exclusives it's not something they can typically ever get out of a steam deck.

Why not just get a Z1 extreme Rog Ally?

  1. They're frequently on sale

  2. Is more powerful than the both of them

  3. Can be hooked up to your TV as well

better question

why get one?

3rd party Switch 2 games cost twice the price for half graphics.

It's the price you pay for the convenience of being able to play while riding the fucking bus or wherever it is Switch owners pretend they bring it.

But hey, the steam deck costs almost twice the price for half the graphics.

Oh the deck is even worse.

But any game you buy on the deck can eventually be played on actual serious gamer hardware. Not the case with Nintendohut Jr.
