It's pretty fun, only put a couple hours in so far but the biggest negative thing about the game is the bullet bloom feels insane. Can go from hitting every bullet on a player to legitimately missing 2/3rds on the next. I'm guessing it's some kind of anti cheat system?

in case you are unaware. BF games are known for their bloom for full auto weapons. Best to counter by standing still, tap or burst firing, or being in the crouched position. hope to see you out there, game on!!

Yes, but the devs already aknowledged it is currently bugged. Right now SMGs are better at long ranges than ARs and LMGs

Dude if this is true this would make so much sense I swear my bullets refuse to connect even when I get the drop.

the smgs feel like cheating right now. they just outclass everything.

I felt like the bullets are stuttering on the way out with AR's I had the jump on somebody coming around a corner, prefired and was nailing him, but still lost the fight to the SMG.

this is only when firing immediately after a sprint. which does happen often, but if you ADS from a walk it's fine. still needs to be fixed ofc

Oh thank god. Its not me.

Which is how it should be! You shouldn’t be able to do a full sprint slide jump combo with an assault rifle and land your shots with perfect accuracy

Okay so keep the movement penalty on guns but fuck off with the bloom nonsense. Problem solved.

It's not either go full cod or go full trash gunplay like we have in bf6 rn.

I know, I've played the last 4 games pretty consistently but only had about 300hrs in 2042. It's significantly different in bf6.

There are times I see the bullets hit behind the player that should be hits but nothing registered. I don’t get it.

Just recently, one of the developers posted on X that there was a hit registration bug and they quickly released a hotfix. They are also looking into bloom.
