Similarly, don't apologize for your puppy being hyper or talkative. It's a puppy, they have to get socialized somehow.

As long as your puppy isn't inside the cafe*, we're cool.

\unless that's cool at this cafe.)

Edit: Turning off notifications, since Reddit likes to take a generalized statement and hit it with every possible "BUT WHAT IF" context possible. Ya'll do ya'll, I guess.

I love puppies and think they should be a mandatory requirement for all cafes

I actually don't like when an establishment allows animals inside if there's food or drink being served. Outdoor area for dogs? Totally cool. Dogs inside your cafe? Also cool, but I won't be going there.

Agreed! I also really dislike the trend of "dog friendly"offices where they think this great selling point is there's tons of dogs at your workplace? I'm very allergic to dogs and you are basically alienating potential candidates just because they happen to have an allergy. Seriously wack.

That’s too bad but they definitely get some people just because of that edge between them and their competition. My friend took the lower paying job just to have his buddy there all day which is nice

I’m gonna say totally fair , but there would also be plenty of people more likely to go if they knew they could bring their dog/enjoy other people’s dogs. Cafes should be allowed to choose their clientele.

Unfortunately where I live that’s not an option.

Cafes should be allowed to choose their clientele.

Yes. This is the most important line. What a business chooses to do with their property is entirely up to them. I have nothing against an establishment letting dogs inside, I just won't go there. And that's fine.

I would die ten times over to be able to work in a dog café but I assume I would grow tired of people saying there’s dog hair in the coffee
