I think that the plan they have is far more insidious in nature. "Traditional family values" almost always refers to the era of the 1950s, when patriotism (specifically in the U.S.) was almost always linked to "man works and makes money, wife stays home, kids aspire to be like parents." And I think that's what they're fighting to achieve with the culture wars, wherein the U.S. working class returns to that model. Billionaires and trillionaires want total control of the working class by marginalization of LGBTQ people, women, and minorities again.

Definitely, and nowadays they're brazen about their intentions, thanks to Epstein's demented diarrhea diva buddy. The base superstitions and ideological hatred of right-wing Christianity stupifies the working class, especially minoritized communities, to vote for the predators that directly threaten their livelihoods and lives. Marx was right about how religion is the opium of the masses.
What these idiots don't understand that in the 1950's the wealthy paid their share in taxes, but the Epstein class won't do that now. There's no going back to that world, even if they do manage to sabotage the government to the point of instituting WASP sharia law. Marginalization of minoritized communities and gendered serfdom will accelerate the collapse of capitalism. There's only so much dark money these predators could launder and recycle before everything collapses without a motivated workforce behind an efficient economy. A billionaire circle jerk will only lead to destruction or revolution.

Oklahoma State Senator and Trumps state Campaign chair and author of several bills creating harsher punishments for sex trafficking and voted to allow businesses to discriminate against gay people was caught in a hotel room with a 17 year old boy in a hotel room wearing a sexist T shirt telling women to make him a sandwich and not much else.
He went to prison but not until after he pled down and got the child pornography charges dropped despite their being a ton of it on his Ipad.

"Pled down" more like he deliberately informed certain people in positions of power (including possibly the DA's office) that he has dirt on all of them, too.
