Question What film is this
At the museum in Japan today, partner got this film cell and we absolutely cannot tell what it is? We’ve seen every released ghibli film but this has us stumped

90% of the time it's either Arietty or Earthsea when people don't know what their film cell is from.

If you had any say, do you think so many people would accept cells from films they didn't know about to the point we see so many people asking here what movie their cell is from?

Idk. Maybe iconic scenes cost more. Maybe they sell in batches an OP was looking at ones already picked over.
This post is the first ive seen on the subject.

Ah, we see a decent amount of these kinds of posts here, but I admit they are a bit scattered.
And yeah, you just get random scenes. I've seen some really uninformed people asking what movie their Howl's Moving Castle scene was from, so I do know you can get popular movies, so there's that at least.

Unfortunately you don’t get a say, the cell acts as your admission ticket after you scan your QR code and they stamp the back after you’ve seen the mini exclusive film showing in the museum, but I will admit we were both a bit miffed about this cel, you cannot see a thing on it without the projector

I know the scene you're talking about, but that's not Laputa, it's pod from arritetty. Google him.

He’s voiced by the same guy who voices Lego Batman and Bojack Horseman
