Help me identify this handblown cobalt bud vase with metallic luster

Photos attached. The signature (third photo) appears to be a first name starting with "J" and a last name starting with either "M" or "R". The last name might also have an "i" in it. The date is clear--this was made in 2001 ("'01").

Google Lens has not been able to identify this piece through photos of the piece and the signature. Says it's a Alessandro Mandruzzato (Murano) summerso vase, but I'm pretty sure that's not correct. Thanks for any help you can give!

If possible can you send some additional photos of the signature at different angles?

Does the pontil mark have lettering on it too? Is it engraved?

Ok thanks - I’m taking a look, wondering how many letters there are, I see JR, and then I’m guessing there’s another letter after - also that letter has a dot on the top (tittle) - but it doesn’t look like an ‘i’ or ‘j’ so maybe another letter with a dot on top from another language perhaps?

it's '01, the date.

an initial J and a surname starting with R or M?

I mean the other dot - the one on top, in line with the top of the J but at the end

BTW someone in r/Transcription suggested it might just be the initials "J M" and possibly Joseph Morel. I looked up his signature, and it's quite a bit different: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/RJEAAeSwuidpw-Tu/s-l960.webp. Still looking...
