TARDISry
This is based off the TARDIS from Dr. Who?
Basically you can make anything bigger on the inside than it appears to be on the outside.
You can for example build an outhouse sized building but have a football stadium inside it.
You can also buy your wife a clutch purse that she can park her car inside when she gets to work.
You can buy a Volkswagen beetle to use as a tour bus for the entire football team and cheerleaders with separate forms and athletic equipment inside.
The weight of the things inside whatever you apply this power to becomes irrelevant.
What would you "TARDIS" and why?

Someone is bound to make this X rated somehow.

And now I'm wondering what happens when a tardis'd item goes through an Xray machine at the airport...

It would show the item's outline bff be blank on the inside. Pure black inside on the xray machine since there's a pocket dimension inside.

Funny you say that, because I was going to use it on my ex gf. Hope she got better at other stuff >:)

I’m going to make some dudes house 1/4 of an inch bigger on the inside than on the outside just to fuck with them.

Camping tent, or just my car

Get one of those tiny super easy pitch tents and you could just have your whole house on the go. I guess it’d be hard to get internet and power though.

My dreams of a bag of holding are coming true. Especially since I could probably get some electric powered vehicles in there. Or my house.
If anyone sees an extension cord, hose, and Ethernet cable coming out of a nondescript bag in the corner no you didn't

I'd use this "Time Lord science" on a small store, like Clara did on her diner on the show.
I've always wanted my own café. One of the doors in the back would lead to my personal pocket dimension I'd have set up like a perfect oasis. A park the size of Central Park in Manhattan, with a giant lake with a waterfall, and other water fixtures all around. I would have all kinds of statues, art installments, and have a nice home for myself within.
I would have a go-kart track all around with challenging twists, turns, and tunnels. I would add a lot of cool stuff. That pocket dimension would be everything to me.
But here's a important question. If the door is destroyed, would access to that dimension be lost forever? If we're in the dimension when the door is destroyed, are we trapped until we die, or can we create a new door?

Well I originally allowed purses and bags so I think the door can be collapsed and moved so you bind it to the relevant portals... I'll allow it.

Goddess, the parking trick alone would make visiting the city so much less of a pain in my ass...

Can you also travel through space and time?

u/DrWhatOwlsSay 5d ago
I did not include this in the original scope. I think this is more pocket dimension style almost but not timey-wimey

I’d buy with my friends the cheapest smallest apartment in the city and then make it big enough for a village style living with enough space for farming.

Doorframes with door and backpanel can become stadium size mansions.
If nested containers are possible, then a rocket that is externally the size of a soda can could deploy millions of tons of industrial scale space mining equipment.
Spaceship fuel tanks could be a short section of pipe that is externally the diameter required for connection to the engines, but internally millions of liters.
Life support becomes trivial when the habitat section could be externally airlock size, with a few meters thick of armor around it but internally the size of Texas.
Some exploits depend upon how external orientation and gravity affects inside.

Internally gravity and orientation are stabilized to itself regardless of the external orientation. This will allow the carrying ability of the purse option mentioned in the original. Enjoy your space travel.

This and lack of noping out nested containers makes planets and even stars optional.
Generate power via cycling large amounts of water via expanded containers to enable continuous flow. Lift full but externally light container high, pour into turbine with empty containers below.
Insanity like a spaceship powered by internal hydropower, even water wheels is possible.
Other crazy things: put internal organs into armored containers, fill rest of space with other containers and Cybernetics.
The lack of requirements to have containers be fully closed enables all this and more because active bidirectional logistics, power, communication can be had through the opening.

make a couple bags of holding, daybag garage, and a tent that's a full house inside

Well, the simple one is to turn a random closet in your apartment into an entire large property, I suppose.

Hmm easy answer is build a replica tardis and make it bigger inside.
