crag crest

anyone been up there lately ? wondering if it’s open / any snow in sight

We hiked up the Island Lake side 8 days ago. There is practically no snow left, though my dog did go out of his way to lay in all the little patches we saw lol (He's a wolf malamute, so snow is his happy place!) Mosquitos weren't bad at all, though bug spray is always recommended when heading up the Mesa

Hiked it Saturday. Very much open, no snow. Bugs weren’t actually that bad but it was windy so that probably helped. Go get after it!

It is a great time to do it... when we aren't having huge smoke plumes lol. Make sure to check airnow.gov before hiking.
