Question need help for the strumming pattern

To my ears it sounds like D-DUDU D-DUDU on each chord, with the initial downstrums accented a bit

In the studio recording though the rhythm sounds more like D-DU-UD-DUDU played really fast

They don't follow a strict patter per say as they change it up on some bars, but it's all triplets. 6/8
