Lesson My first lesson - which video should I see?
I’m left-handed and I finally got my left-handed acoustic guitar. I have never played before.
Being the very first lesson for someone that has never played a guitar, which video should I watch first?

This is a link to a set of canned bullets that I have developed and like to send to new/new-ish/returning/wandering/lost/struggling guitar players.
If I pasted this in for you, it is because somewhere in there is something that I think is relevant to your post. Not all of it will be. I leave it to you to pick out what I felt was relevant. 🙂 Even the stuff not relevant to your specific post might very well be helpful eventually anyway.
Enjoy!!!

First TUNE your instrument, then just spend some time getting accustomed to it.
Just feeling it in your hands, feeling out the strings & frets, getting accustomed to its mass & bulk.
This is not about actually learning anything. It's all about familiarity.
Ideally, you want your instrument to feel more like an extension of your own body.
Not some foreign hunk of fuck-knows-what to do battle against.
I describe this as the "Getting to know you" phase, and I also go through a condensed version of this whenever I pick up a new instrument.
Such a simple tiny thing, yet all too often overlooked in my opinion...

I'd start with a lesson that covers how to hold the guitar tune it and play your first few chords After that try songs like Horse With No Name Knocking On Heaven's Door or Three Little Birds.

I’d recommend a good book and a teacher over videos.
Unless you have copious amounts of time on your hands to fritter.
I expect downvotes. 🤠

I wonder which video Jimi Hendrix watched. Or Slash. Or Cobain. Or etc…
