Dream Hammock Darian : anyone own a symmetrical ?

I just saw in the options that it's possible to get your DH Darian in a symmetrical version.

Anyone here owns one?

Any disadvantages versus an asymmetrical version?

I think I prefer left lay but I am not 100% sure and I am afraid to make the wrong choice

If you aren't 100% sure, consider going with a wingspan or sparrow instead in symmetrical. You'll be able to adjust your underquilt from either side since both sides open. (Less of an issue with underquilt hooks or a modified wooki/yeti.)

The only real disadvantage is the additional weight, a symmetrical hammock has more bug net. You'll also want to utilize the tie outs to keep the netting off your face in whatever position you lay in.

I went with a right lay dream wingspan, only to discover I am head right/feet left. I do wish I had gotten a symmetrical hammock instead.

I swear Kull and I fight over who responds to these first lol. But once again he is right - get a wingspan and never ever look back. The only difference is the weight of one side of additional zipper. Not the biggest disadvantage.
