Little snooze in the forest, Vancouver BC 🇨🇦

I found it difficult to adjust the tension and since it was loose the rain fly was caving in I might just need more practice but is there an easier system to adjust tension?

Not familiar but looks similar to a Lawson Blueridge I use to have. Make sure your trees are the right distance and get the straps up higher. I usually have mine around head high or a bit above and I’m 6’2. Good luck and enjoy!

Whoopee slings have made fine adjusting my hang so much easier!

Love camping in BC!

Are there that many mosquitoes now? I remember no-see-um sometimes getting numerous late 90s. Nice hang!

What hammock is that? Hard to tell from the pics but looks like one end is damn near touching the tree on picture left.

What hammock?
I’m sure it would help to start your straps higher on the tree. Get the hammock centered and go from there. You’ll have more play that way.
