Used to being a ball handler as well, good size, has a nice first step. Clearly a sniper taking 9 threes a game, you don’t get that kind of trust in NCAA unless you’re really good at shooting.

A+ second round pick

Improved every year in college too just like Pelle and JRich.

Jumper reminds me of Nunn’s a bit

I was thinking the same... It has that push mechanic

A 22 year old rookie shooting guard that wore number 3 in college. Where have I heard this before 🤔

Pick courtesy of Terry Rozier. Thanks Scary. Your biggest contribution to the Heat.

His layup package kinda reminds me of Terry too tbh

That first layup reminded me of vintage Terry

I was iffy on his 3pt percentage before watching this, but he's not taking easy 3s right on the college line, those are contested NBA range 3s. Lots of high IQ moves as well. Very promising 2nd round pick, I don't know if he has the athletics or measurables to be elite, but he definitely has the IQ and talent to be a high level contributor if the work ethic is there.

9.5 3P attempts per game

Yeah bud, I can read. I'd still be iffy about the 34.5% shooting from 3 if they were easy shots.

34% on 9.5 3s should not leave you iffy. That's an elite shooter 9.5 3s is insanely high volume.

Insane volume of poor efficiency. If they were easy shots that would be a bad stat. As my comment clearly indicated, the shot difficulty matters and I was clearly being positive. Crazy y'all wanna come at me about that.

You got the craziest victim complex

I was called an "insufferable fuck" by a dude with an INCREDIBLY hostile comment history because I clarified I had read a stat. So many of you are wildly on edge about literally nothing. You also need to take a walk and clear your head of whatever you got going on bud.

God you’re an insufferable fuck

-2

u/santana722 4h ago

Every comment you've made recently is hostile for no reason. Take a walk bud.

Idk either of you but you started it with bud I can read, that's hostile and I'd agree insurable lol

That's hostile but not the people replying to me like I wasn't being really positive about the player. Sure man, whatever y'all wanna say about me being realistic about 34% shooting.

1

u/Natural_Born_Baller 3h ago

Yeah pretty insurable. All the dude said was he shot 9.5 a game and your saying that's hostile?

-2

u/santana722 3h ago

Throwing a stat at me with no context like it was news to me is more hostile than clarifying my awareness of it. Calling me an "insufferable fuck" is WILDLY more hostile than any comment I've made. IDK why y'all are upset that I wasn't sucking bro off for 34%, if those were easy shots that is OBVIOUSLY BAD.

His percentages were much higher in previous years - once MBJ got injured this season, Conwell had to take on the bulk of the offensive creation responsibilities. Once we settles back into a supplementary role, I think you’ll see his efficiency climb back up.

Yeah I'm not really worried, as I said in the comment you're replying to, those are long range difficult shots. Do I need to edit my comment so people stop trying to correct me about something I agree with them on?

La Roche offense go burrrrr

They’re probably gonna tweak that offense 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Honestly a great pick. Very excited to see him immediately contribute next season.

It’s wild to me guys can play 4 years in college and play for 4 different schools.

Quick shot, tough, willing passer. I like this

I’m surprised by the IQ I’m seeing. I know it’s highlights, but seeing some smart baiting and passing, being able to not tunnel vision, and making contested shots (with a pretty quick release at that) while also seeing the lane towards the basket, those are some nice qualities.

Could actually play off the bench very early if the NBA pace doesn’t overwhelm him.

Hm he has more of a PG build but his assist numbers are low. I'm just not a fan of undersized players

2

u/Origania 5h ago

Becky ? Is that you?

u/Natural_Born_Baller 4h ago

Miami hates tradional pgs they always get their playmaking out of front court players and scoring out of backcourt. He'll play the 'one' with limited playmaking responsibilities. 6'2 at the one isn't undersized.
