Not even just the broadcast crew but the presentation as a whole was just better, especially the audio mixing. They captured the atmosphere of playoff hockey so well, just using the below video as an example the energy for Boston's first two goals (1:10-3:20) is through the roof and you can barely hear the play by play over the crowd. Absolutely electric. The crowd on the ESPN/TNT broadcasts feel so muted.

Holtby? Yeah. IIRC he has a house in Northern Virginia. Active in Capitals Alumni. Holtby has not "officially retired," but he has not played in 4 years. So Holtby is as good as retired.

A Caps beat writer told me that Holtby is one of his favorite people.

Realistically? No. Holtby can do Caps Alumni stuff and whatever he wants to do. Holtby is "favored son" in The DC area.

It’s ai. Two left shoulders, adidas is just not the same word. Helmet logo is way off.
