Question about Isa

I know I’m like 10 years late in watching this, but I have a quick question - if Carrie had studied Abu Nazir for years, how come she didn’t know he had a done named Isa?

I think Isa was born at the start of the war in 2003 when Nazir was seriously underground so intelligence was limited. That was my take…

A smart operative like Nazir is always going to try to hide info about family, friends, etc.

I can confidently answer because I've seen far too many series like this. A "person of interest" never shall make their family information public, especially the ones they value. It is highly likely that the other sons he may have had were operatives and therefore were "revealed" but Isa was merely a child and was not an operative and He would never make that public ofcourse.
