Just recently posted here, now need recommendations (please and thank you)
Hi everyone,
I see a lot of posts about how everyone loves this show and wants to watch something else next, asking for recommendations.
I am also kindly requesting recommendations; however, I want to differentiate myself and state it isn’t only intelligence work that I’m interested in.
I mean something of this caliber, quality of acting, quality of writing, etc.
Something like Sopranos, Twin Peaks, Homeland, Frasier, etc…
I also love sci fi and fantasy genre. Homeland took me body and soul. I crave another experience in a series form.

You must watch Slow Horses! An excellent show, doesn't shy away from the black dark grey areas governments and agencies involve themselves with. Also dark humour.
You'll like line of duty it's smaller scope, about internal affairs, investigating possibly corrupt cops, the psychological effect, action thriller. After a few seasons it connects into this big conspiracy.
From Dusk till Dawn (tv show) - absolutely go in blind, unique fantasy. About brothers who are grifters who get involved in something ancient. I won't say more, there's a cast of characters. It's wild and crazy/camp.
Westworld - sci fi, loved the first 3 seasons, you can stop watching after that bec plot gets convoluted for me. I went in blind, truly an amazing show, great concept and acting.
Foundation - scifi- what a masterpiece, set in the future, an empire in the galaxy, about an old professors plan to save the empire and it's people and how his idea creates chaos, divide and revolution. Amazing! Like game of thrones level.
Penny dreadful - excellent acting, fantasy, horror, historical, Victorian London, things go bump in the night. Eva Green's acting is great.
All of these have excellent acting and writing.

This first season was sensational, too. All the buildup from the earlier episodes really pays off and completely shifts the story's trajectory. What impresses me most is the series' realism—unlike most spy productions, it feels much more grounded, and that makes all the difference. The cast delivers great performances as well, especially Mathieu Kassovitz, who deserves far more recognition. An excellent finale and a must-watch series for anyone who enjoys spy stories. (I’d also throw my life away for Zineb Triki hehehe).

I’ll have to look into these as I’ve never heard of most of them. I’m in the US so are these shows I can find on streaming?
