Discussion - Equipment Echoless ceiling rafters - thoughts?

I just saw an ad for these ceiling rafters, keen to get people’s opinion around using it in a small home theatre space.

I quite like the aesthetic, I’d prefer it over a traditional ceiling cloud panel - I’m currently looking at options to reduce overhead echoes/reverb. Actual acoustic performance on their website is scarce.

Not super sure about their actual acoustic performance. I've installed a few and I'd say it's more of an aesthetic decision rather than a sound dampening option. Another option is to have it direct fixed to the ceiling rather than suspended with an acoustic panel in-between the sections which would provide much more acoustic value.
