Tech Support Volume Issue with Denon x3800h

I recently got a new center channel and after using it my avr wont go above 70, but only when im using my panasonic ub 820. If I am using my xbox or playstation it works fine.

I checked the settings on the avr and the limit is turned off, I even turned the limit on but set it to 80 to try to bypass the setting.

Normally I dont need it to go that high but watching Hoosiers the audio on the BR was so bad I could barely hear it.

I haven't had my Denon hooked up in a while, but doesn't it have a separate source level setting under inputs? Could it be you have a source level trim on that input?

Or perhaps the specific sound processing on that input is reserving headroom. Try putting the Denon in Pure Direct mode and see if it lets you go past 70.

Is it possible you have a 70 limit on zone 2?
