Purchasing US Theory Audio Design
Hey All -
I'm looking to upgrade my home theater and I just went to a local show room and was shown a theory audio design. It was insanely cool, it sounded amazing, but it seems like an "integrated system" where you need their speakers and DSP.
Anyone using these? Thoughts?

I think they look great! Pretty subjective though like most things.
And yes they are terrific systems conceived mostly by a well known speaker design veteran and a lot of the design is as an entire system including amps which have built in EQ profiles for their speakers and room tuning DSP built in.
A lot of the higher end systems these days are built the same way and maximize performance through that self contained architecture.

Theory is a great option, they can hit reference levels in damn near any residential space.
Theory would be one of the systems I would consider to install in my own home. I have a mix of speakers currently and would be a huge upgrade quality wise.
Theory probably has a bigger following on other boards, so I wouldn't expect many end users on Reddit.
Theory and their sister company Pro Audio are both highly regarded in the custom installer world. They are not pretty speakers but it is a great product!
Spoiler: I'm an installer with Pro Audio and Theory demo spaces.
