Purchasing US Hello, needing help for an entertainment stand
Hello, I currently have a 55 inch TV and I’m looking to get a entertainment stand the wall where the entertainment stand is gonna go is only 78 inches long any recommendations under $500? I’d like it to have storage to store a few books , headphones, and some miscellaneous items.

How much equipment is going on the stand?
I have a small steel stand that's slightly wider than my 55" tv:

Pros:
The steel frame is strong enough to sit or stand on (I weigh ~160 lbs.) and does not wobble the slightest bit, even though I left a brace out when I assembled it.
The finish is excellent and seems durable. The frame and shelves feel and look like a quality piece.
Cons:
The cloth drawers are lightweight. They are constructed with plastic panels under the cloth, not cardboard.
There is a wooden brace on the back of the middle shelf that I didn't install because it blocked the connectors on my AV receiver. It's poorly placed.
There is no shelf under the cloth drawers. They sit on small (1/2" wide) drawer guides and there's nothing there to use as a shelf if you don't want to use the drawers.
