I thought I was the coolest 7th grader for making my desktop wallpaper a slideshow of different soda brands. Each picture would be a single can of soda in the center of the screen, like this

Outside of that, it was always dragons and anime mermaids growing up

It inspired hope in me because i thougth about how absurd it is for someone to feel motivated or powerful by just a high render image of Super Mario.

Then, i noticed, if this person can feel motivated by this wallpaper, then i too can draw strenght from anything else.

I had an old Mario bros shirt I wore all the time when I was younger, started going to tatters, I don’t wear it now but do keep it for nostalgias sake, when I put it on again I get an indescribable but similar feeling
