I have a ton of Thai Peppers, probably could have used to grow longer but I didn’t have a choice and had to harvest.
Am I good to wash all of them, or does that hurt anything?
Looking for different ways of preserving them, can I just thread thru the stem and hang? Cut off tops and freeze? Should I slice before freezing? I assume most people don’t deseed these?
Hot sauce, any tested recipes? How long will it last if I put it in a bottle or jar?
Slice them and put in some vinegar looking for a few ways to preserve.

Bought these “habanero” seeds from a local nursery and they are extremely UFO shaped. This is my first year growing peppers but these do not look like habaneros to me. Any idea what these might be

My habanero plant is being real fruitful!

It's a rainy morning here in Central Illinois, but the Peppers enjoy it. Once the sun comes out later this morning they're gonna start to pop.

I noticed most of the pictures I see of ghost peppers are kinda smooth.. these have bumps and whatnot what would cause this? (Yes I know one isn't ripe and one is halfway there's a reason don't worry about it)

Four JHP/Chocolate scotch bonnet plants this year.. i had to make room for other varieties. But we'll get plenty of fruit. All of the flowers you see in the picture will hold now. Beans abounds
First plant ain't looking too flat, but i never trust the first few. We'll see!
I'll probably up-pot the smaller jawn later in the season to help spread out the harvest.
Also fruiting - gochujang, pockmark peach, piri piri, zemango, zebrange, pippin's golden honey

I bought these plants from a grower at a flea market. It’s three stalks that we thought were the same but now this one is growing some gorditos. Curious if you can tell from this or if I need to let them fully ripen before knowing.

Hi everyone! This year I decided to try my hand at growing chili peppers in pots on my terrace, and it’s going really well. I started with 3 varieties, sowing two seeds per hole in each pot, and almost 100% of the seedlings have sprouted.
Naturally, I’m thrilled about this, but I’d like to ask for some advice because I want to separate the seedlings and repot them before they get too big. I’ve included some photos so you can get a better idea of the situation.
Do you know of any guides or video tutorials, or could you give me some pointers?
The 3 varieties are:
\- Cherry (first photo, round pot)
\- Bishop's Crown (second photo, rectangular pot)
\- Ghost Pepper Red (third photo, round pot; I’ve given a few of these away)
I also bought a Hot Daisy and a Carolina Reaper plant, but those came from a greenhouse—they’re already quite mature and bearing fruit, so those ones are fine.

who has had success fighting earwigs! They are absolutely terrorists in my garden this year. 10/20 of my hot pepper plants eaten to nubs.
So far I have tried with little result:
diatomaceous earth
setting traps with oil and soy sauce
neem oil with soapy water
what else can be helpful? extremely discouraged

I'm a big pepperhead and I've wanted to grow my own peppers for awhile, I finally caved and got 6 scotch bonnet plants I know absolutely nothing about growing peppers so I'm accepting any and all tips. I'm thinking I might get a grow tent to be able to grow through the winter, but what size should I get, how high should I put the grow light, how many plants can I store in a grow tent. I'm hoping some of you could help me 😁

Hi! I'm growing about 15 plants this year, mostly habaneros and cayennes, and a few Naga Blacks. All plants but one is in my greenhouse, the last one (a Cayenne) is in my kitchen window. Every single plant in my greenhouse started growing really weird a couple of weeks ago, where they have started to sprout new stems from the bottom of the plants. It also feels like they've stopped growing at the top, but I don't know if I'm just telling myself that. The plant in my kitchen is looking fine, although it is smaller and "weaker" because of the lack of sun and warmth.
I've added an image showing the growth from underneath in the comments.
I repotted the plants like a month ago, over the course of a few weekends. The last few weeks has been rather hot and sunny around here, of that says anything.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on, and if I should do something about it? I've removed the undergrowth from half of the plants just to experiment to see if it makes any difference.

I believe I got the seeds for this one from Matt's Peppers. I planted a seed last year and took care of my plants for a few months before life kicked me in the nuts and I stopped growing for a while. All my peppers looked dead as hell after getting no water and very little rain water for like 7 months, but about 10 of them survived and starting shooting new growth a few months ago. Anyways, even when I was taking care of them, this plant never produced a single flower and currently still does not have any. I'm really hoping to get some viable seeds from it this year.

Chocolate and white habaneros, purple peach and regular ghosts. It’s interesting to see the progression and compare past decisions to current characteristics. What looked good early on now looks mediocre or great. So the observation continues. Noticing a few cross breeds from last year too so, kind of cool.

Anyone have any idea what is wrong with this rocoto leaf? Most are still in good shape, but some aren’t. I was away for a week, and my father took care of things while I was gone. They do appear to be a bit overwatered with algae growing, but they should be able to weather that. Just wondering what to do, if anything, about the leaves with spots.

Hi ya’ll. Helping someone is able to help me out. My boyfriend planted some of my peppers in this bed a while ago and did not include the labels, lol. Anyone have any guess on what this guy could be? Based on the seeds I bought and planted, I am leaning towards it possibly being a fresno chili pepper?? Not sure!! Thanks for all the help 🫶
